USDA Weekly Crop Progress Report

OMAHA (DTN) -- Corn planting moved slightly ahead of the average pace and winter wheat conditions increased slightly last week, according to USDA NASS's weekly Crop Progress report released on Monday.

NASS estimated U.S. winter wheat condition at 51% good to excellent, up 2 points from 49% the previous week. The crop was 39% headed.

Corn was 40% planted and 11% emerged, and soybeans were 30% planted and 7% emerged.
